    Franchise FAQs

    Questions prospective partners often ask.

Do I need an art or education background to run a franchise?

No. Formal art training is not required. We provide curriculum and delivery training. We are looking for partners who care about childrenโ€™s creative development and are ready to lead a local team.

What is the estimated initial investment?

Current planning estimates are NZD $45,000โ€“$50,000 for a two-room studio and NZD $50,000โ€“$60,000 for a three-room studio. Final costs vary by location, lease terms, fit-out requirements and working-capital needs. Request the information pack for the current fee and inclusion schedule.

    What support will I receive?

Support can include site evaluation, studio planning, curriculum resources, training, launch preparation, marketing guidance and ongoing operational support. The information pack explains the current support programme in more detail.

    How many staff are needed?

Staffing depends on class capacity and the timetable you plan to run. A typical studio may include a manager, teaching staff and part-time assistance. We will discuss an appropriate staffing plan during the planning process.

How long does it take to become profitable?

There is no guaranteed timeframe. Results depend on location, lease and fit-out costs, enrolments, pricing, staffing and local management. We provide systems and marketing guidance, but prospective partners should complete independent financial due diligence.

Can I open in a mall or shared commercial space?

Potentially, provided the site is safe, suitable for teaching children and meets operational, planning and brand requirements. Every proposed site is assessed before approval.
